Pecora 895NST is a high-performing, neutral curing, medium modulus silicone sealant that is specifically formulated for structural and non-structural glazing with excellent aesthetic characteristics of which it will not stain sensitive, porous or natural stones, such as, granite or marble. Pecora 895NST will not contribute to residue run-down on nonporous surfaces, such as, metal, panel or glass curtain wall facades. Reduction in long-term dirt pick up on sealant surfaces is also a feature of the Pecora NST line of silicone architectural grade sealants. With a dynamic movement capability of ±50%, to complement its structural strength, Pecora 895NST is equally efficient as a weatherseal in the vast majority of sealant applications besides glazing. Pecora 895NST provides excellent, unprimed adhesion to most surfaces including glass, reflective glass, anodized aluminum, plastics, wood, masonry, and fluoropolymer based paints. Pecora 895NST has a long working time for ease of application and tooling and has an extremely fast cure-through period after an initial set. Pecora 895NST is compatible with most laminated glass units, acrylic and polycarbonate glazing sheets and is easily applied in all working temperatures. Pecora 895NST will not corrode building components, has a mild odor and is suitable for use on natural stones such as limestone, granite or marble.
