Dow 706 Hi-Temp Silicone Sealant - 10.1 Fluid Ounce Cartridge

Dow Hi-Temp 706 (formerly Dow Corning Hi-Temp 706) Red Silicone Sealant is a one-part, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant that will cure to a tough, rubbery solid at room temperature on exposure to water vapor in the air. Dow Hi-Temp 706 forms a long-lasting, water-resistant seal with ±25% movement capability when properly applied. Uses are for bag filters on smoke stacks, sealing fired heaters, access doors and flanged pipe joints, flues on gas appliances, heating elements in appliances, plywood drying oven doors and windows in oven doors and other critical bonding and sealing where parts must perform at high temperatures. Dow Hi-Temp 706 Red Silicone Sealant cures very fast, is quite durable and resists the effects of prolonged sunlight and extreme weather conditions. Performs in high temperature applications, up to 500°F continuously, and 550°F intermittently. This specific sealant only comes in the color red.
