SikaFlex 220+ is a one-component, cold applied, high viscosity, quick curing, flexible high performance polyurethane based adhesive for bonding and replacing replacing direct glazed automotive glass parts. The windshield adhesive chemical reaction starts as soon as the adhesive is extruded or the cartridge is opened. It's initial strength come to life from its high viscosity during the application process. Sikaflex 220+ cures to form a high-grade elastomer and possesses outstanding working characteristics and non-sag properties that grab and hold the glass while the curing process takes place. Its fast rate of cure results in rapid strength development and shorter service times. When used as directed, Sikaflex 220+ meets or exceeds the strength requirements outlined in the direct glazing specifications of automobile manufacturers. In order to ensure that manufacturer's standards are met, make sure to use a very good glass cleaner such as CRL PWR22 and a pinchweld primer such as CRL 1214006 during your windshield adhesive pre-application process.

Avoid contact with alcohol and alcohol containing solvents during curre.
Do not apply over silicones or in the presence of curing silicones.
Glass parts must always be installed within the open time. The open time is significantly shorter in hot and humid climates.
Never install any glass part after the product has built a skin.
