Sikaflex 15LM is a one-component, moisture curing, polyurethane based sealant that possesses a wide temperature range capacity. Sikaflex 15 LM is a low modulus joint sealant that is designed for construction and expansion joints with high movement capacity in building and civil engineering construction. Uses include: between pre-cast concrete elements, joints in cantilever and flat roofs, bridges and parapets, underpasses and tunnels and lightweight building materials. Advantages include ready for use no site mixing, excellent adhesion to concrete, brick, natural and artificial stone, glass, ceramics, aluminium, stainless steel and powder-coated metals. Sikaflex 15LM low modulus, one-part polyurethane sealant will not sag in both vertical and overhead joints or when installed into vertical joints up to 35 mm wide. It has excellent aging and weathering properties.

Allow 1 week cure at standard conditions when using in total water immersion situations and prior to painting.
Maximum depth of sealant must not exceed 1/2 in. ;minimum depth is 1/4 in.
Do not cure in the presence of curing silicone sealants.
Avoid contact with alcohol and other solvent cleaners, during cure.
When overcoating, an on-site test is recommended to determine compatibility.
Do not apply when moisture-vapor-transmission condition exists from the substrate which can cause bubbling within the sealant.
Use opened cartridges and uni-pac sausages the same day.
When applying sealant, avoid air-entrapment.
Since system is moisture-cured, permit sufficient exposure to air.
The color white tends to yellow slightly when exposed to ultraviolet rays.
Lighter colors can yellow if exposed to direct gas fired heating elements.
Ultimate performance depends on good joint design and proper application.
With joint surfaces properly prepared and sealed, movement of +100% -50% can be tolerated.
Do not use in contact with bituminous/asphaltic materials.
Joint sealant needs to be recessed in properly designed traffic bearing joint.
