Sika Sikaflex 1c Arctic is a one-component, polyurethane, colored, moisture curing, non-sag elastomeric sealant that is formulated for cold weather applications. Movement capability ± 25 %. Internal and external use. Being a one-component polyurethane sealant, Sikaflex-1c Arctic does not require mixing equipment. Sikaflex-1c Arctic is very easy to gun and tooling can take place down to 15°F. At extremely cold temperatures, Sikaflex-1c Arctic will continue to be workable, gunable and toolable. Sikaflex-1c Arctic has high elasticity and flexibility and provides good cut and tear resistance. Sikaflex-1c Arctic provides good adhesion to many construction materials with low stress on substrates. Sikaflex-1c Arctic is primerless for most substrates and applications, is resistant to weathering and aging and is suitable for use in most global conditions. Sikaflex-1c Arctic VOC emissions are low and this urethane-based sealant is suggested by the EPA for radon reduction. Sikaflex-1c Arctic is resistant to jet fuel exposure and is paintable with oil and rubber based paints. Allow full curing before using Sikaflex-1c Arctic in total water immersion situations.
