CRL M64 Polyurethane Construction Sealant Sausage is a very high performance, low modulus, one-component, moisture curing, modified polyurethane sealant. It has a smooth, even consistency and surface when it becomes cured. M64 Polyurethane Construction Sealant does not require priming for common materials such as brick, concrete, aluminum, wood, and granite. It is easily applied when using any sausage-bulk caulking gun when targeting clean and dry surfaces.
Basic uses: CRL M64 polyurethane construction sealant was specifically designed for sealing dynamically moving joints, such as: expansion and control joints, precast concrete panel and curtainwall joints, perimeter caulking to include masonry, windows, doors, panels and frames. This polyurethane sealant adheres to most common construction materials like brick, concrete, aluminum, vinyl, wood, and granite.
CRL M64 polyurethane construction sealant is compatible with insulating glass sealants when glazing units and applied as a toe or heel bead. M64 exhibits rigorous adhesion that will not dissipate over time. This unique weather-resistant formulation has a balanced adhesive strength, low modulus, and high recovery, making it perfect to withstand the following adverse conditions common to such installations: moisture, movement, shear, and deflection. Withstands temperatures after full cure from -40°F to 180°F. M64 is suitable for continual immersion in water with the use of the appropriate primer. It is paintable after full cure; minimum 72 hours.
